CONGRATULATIONS!
If you have prayed to receive JESUS CHRIST in your life, you are now a member of the family of God. Now you can enjoy your new life in Christ.
How? The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, that :
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things become new."
a. READ GOD'S WORD - the BIBLE. The Bible is the written word of God as inspired by His Spirit. Start reading and meditating it everyday so that you'll know more about your wonderful SAVIOR and His plans for you. It is through the Bible that God would teach you how to hear and listen to His voice. You'll find out that God speaks as He is a living God and not a dead one. Suggest you start reading the Gospel of John in the New Testament. If you don't know how to start, feel free to contact us through the More About You page.
b. PRAY. You can talk to God everyday through prayer. As you read His word, you can communicate with Him and respond to Him. You can talk to Him about anything. For God loves you and would definitely want to commune with you. And as you pray, take time also to listen to Him as you meditate on His word.
c. FELLOWSHIP WITH OTHER BELIEVERS. As a plant cannot grow without being watered, it is also in church that we can be "watered". It is when we are planted on a church can we really grow. In church, we can fellowship with other beleivers, encourage one another, nurturing our gifts and talents for use in God's kingdom and meet new people who, like us, had also given their lives to the Lord. Look for a local church in your area where Christ is being preached and lifted up as the Savior. Or you can join us or one of our daughter churches. Check out where we are at www.jiacommuniy.org .
d. TELL OTHERS. If you've receive Christ as Lord and Savior of your life, you have to tell others about Him, too, that they may also know the way to salvation. Share it with your friends, loved ones and even other people you meet. The Bible says that for one soul that repents and receives the Lord Jesus in his life, the heavenlies are rejoicing. So let's share Christ to others for He died for them also.
